Body Found Under Platform At Metro-North Station In Springdale

An investigation is underway after a body was discovered under the platform at the Springdale Metro-North train station in Stamford late Saturday afternoon.

The cause of death is pending results of the investigation by MTA Police.

The entrance to Largo Drive at the Springdale Diner reopened shortly after 8 p.m., Stamford Police said.

A substitute bus service was provided for customers on the New Canaan Line while rail service was suspending starting around 5 p.m.
